About OBS-NDI
NDI for OBS Studio, made easy to find
OBS-NDI is the open-source plugin that adds NDI video and audio to OBS Studio - letting you receive NDI sources, transmit the main OBS program over NDI, and send individual sources or scenes as dedicated NDI outputs across an IP network. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux and slots into the normal OBS workflow, so NDI feeds appear right alongside your other sources.
From OBS-NDI to DistroAV
The plugin most people still search for as “OBS-NDI” is today developed under the name DistroAV. The project was renamed in June 2024 after the OBS Project asked that “OBS” be removed from the plugin's name; the software and its purpose stayed the same. If you arrived looking for OBS-NDI, the current DistroAV release is exactly what you want.
Why this site exists
obsndiplugin.com is an independent resource run by people who use OBS and NDI in real productions. The goal is simple: one tidy place to grab the latest official build for your operating system and learn how to set it up properly, with plain-English guides in our Wiki. The files we point to are the genuine releases - nothing is re-packaged, wrapped in our own installer, or padded with extras.
The project and how to help
OBS-NDI / DistroAV is maintained by a community of contributors, package maintainers, reviewers and sponsors. Nearly all of it is open source, so you are free to read, build and improve the code. If it saves you time or money, the most valuable thank-you is to pitch in: visit the official DistroAV repository on GitHub to star it, file a bug, sharpen the docs, write a new feature, or sign on as a contributor.
obsndiplugin.com is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the DistroAV / OBS-NDI project, the OBS Project, or Vizrt, and it links only to the original software from the official releases. NDI® is a registered trademark of Vizrt NDI AB.
