Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
This page sets out, in plain terms, what happens to data when you visit obsndiplugin.com ("we", "us", "our"). The short version: this is a static information site about the OBS-NDI plugin, we are not in the business of collecting your personal details, and the only moving parts are our host's standard logs and the advertising described further down.
What we ask you for
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no login, no contact form and no field anywhere on the site that asks for your name, email or any other personal detail. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not sell, rent or share personal data, because we do not gather it in the first place.
Hosting logs
As with practically every website, the server that delivers these pages keeps routine access logs - things like your IP address, the browser you used and which pages loaded. That information exists so the site can stay online, fast and secure. We do not use it to work out who you are, and we do not cross-reference it with anything else.
Advertising and cookies
obsndiplugin.com carries third-party ads served through Google AdSense. Delivering those ads means Google and its advertising partners may set cookies and similar identifiers on your device. The DoubleClick / AdSense cookie, in particular, lets Google and its partners tailor the ads you see based on your visits here and to other sites.
Google explains its side of this in the “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services” document. If you would rather not see personalized ads, you can turn them off in Google Ads Settings and opt out of other vendors at aboutads.info/choices. Your browser's cookie controls give you another layer of choice.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown ads in keeping with the relevant consent rules. Where you decline personalized advertising, Google can fall back to non-personalized ads, which are chosen from the page's context rather than your browsing history.
Leaving the site
A download button or outbound link takes you off obsndiplugin.com and onto someone else's service, such as the official OBS-NDI (DistroAV) release host on GitHub. We pass you straight to the genuine release and never repackage or alter it. Once you are on a third-party site, that site's own privacy policy applies - it is worth a read, and it is out of our hands.
Children
The site is meant for a general audience and does not knowingly gather information from children.
Updates
This policy can change as the site evolves. When it does, the revised version appears here with a fresh "Last updated" date at the top.
